About Our Contributors
SavvyCitizen solicits contributions from a
number of individuals, always with the goal of
trying to find the best representative of a
particular position on the issue in question.
Whenever possible we try to solicit
contributions from local residents and business
people, but when necessary we will go beyond our
borders to get the best person for the job.

Larry Jensen
Larry and his wife are the owners and operators
of The Newcastle School, an award winning pre-school that has been operating for
24 years (the last 14 in Draper).
Larry also serves as the Secretary of the
Draper
Community Development Corporation (DCDC), whose mission is to promote
and support community land uses and economic development while preserving
Draper's historic and cultural heritage. That mission is accomplished by
identifying opportunities, educating and engaging the public and bringing
together elements of government, commerce, finance and philanthropy to complete
projects which enhance our unique community. The current project of the DCDC is
the restoration of the Fitzgerald Home and its development into the future home
of the Draper Area Chamber of Commerce.
